Benjamin Moore & Co. Launches Color Visualization Tool: Professional CD Version Available

Choosing colors and determining which paint color works best in which room can be a daunting process. Now, selecting the right paint palette to coordinate your home’s interior is now easier than ever. Benjamin Moore & Co. just introduced online access to its entire color system of over 3,200 hues.

With the introduction of the Personal Color Viewer, a new color visualization tool, onto the paint company’s website, www.benjaminmoore.com, you don’t even have to leave your home, simply log on and explore your color options.

Visitors can select from a variety of interior and exterior images that can be “painted” in any Benjamin Moore® color, viewed and printed or archived online. This tool is ideal for beginning the color selection process, allowing consumers to view their colors on a virtual wall before any paint is actually applied.

Additionally, the Personal Color Viewer is available in an expanded, professional CD version that takes the process to the next level, providing the ability to upload digital images of individual rooms and exteriors. “Painting” these images from Benjamin Moore’s vast array of colors takes as little as 5-10 minutes. The result: a printable, Benjamin Moore “painted” version of the substrate involved.

Professional contractors and designers can also use the expanded, professional Personal Color Viewer when working on color selection with their clients. When determining color palettes for residential or commercial jobs, this CD version enables clients to view a variety of customized color directions. The expanded CD version can be purchased on the Benjamin Moore® website for $14.95 and is only available for PCs.

Once colors are selected, a visit to a local, authorized Benjamin Moore® retailer, provides access to exact color samples. The online process allows every Benjamin Moore® color to be selected by color name or color number. All Benjamin Moore® palettes can be viewed including Color Preview®, Classics, Serenity, Historical, both interior and exterior Ready Mixed, Exterior Inspiration and Forecast Colors.

The Personal Color Viewer, at www.benjaminmoore.com, works in conjunction with Benjamin Moore’s online My Project Notebook. This tool allows paint and color selections to be archived and saved on www.benjaminmoore.com for future reference.
