ei software, inc. is proud to have created and implemented the technology used in Color@Home II. ei software's tools allow the user to digitally paint, view and print pictures of their own home. With the click of the mouse, users can apply any of the 648 colors from Glidden's palette to exterior and interior images of their own home. Color@Home II retails for $5.97 and is available at Home Depot stores and paint retailers that carry the Glidden brand across the country.

To provide start-to-finish assistance, Color@Home II offers simple step-by-step instructions that guide users through the entire paint process, from decorating ideas and inspiration to how much paint to buy and where. Interactive tools allow users to change the color of different surfaces, including walls, ceilings, trims, shutters, furnishings and even textile accessories. Eraser tools make it easy to clean up coloring mistakes. Once the perfect look is achieved, "before and after" images can be saved in a personal record or printed for quick reference.

The Color@Home II application enables homeowners to take a picture of their own home or individual rooms, import scanned or digital photos into the CD-ROM program and experiment with hundreds of different color schemes from Glidden's "Language of Color" mood-inspired collections. Using the computer mouse as a virtual paintbrush, homeowners can custom-paint the walls, ceilings, trims and more of their very own rooms and exteriors. Even furnishings can be painted, making it easier to see how a new or reupholstered sofa or chair would look in a newly colored environment.
