Wayne-Dalton and ei software have worked together to create the Wayne-Dalton Door Selection Center. This software helps Wayne-Dalton dealers and sales people display how a new Wayne-Dalton door will look on a prospective client's home.

The Door Selection Center allows users to image garage doors by selecting options from an image-based menu system. This interface is especially helpful when working with clients in their homes or in the show room.

Doors can be imaged on a photograph taken by the sales person, or supplied by the customer. Images can be from a digital camera, CD-Rom, or a desktop scanner. Once the photograph is in the computer, ei's software allows any number of doors to be placed over the original photograph.

Our technology allows doors to be placed with the correct perspective, in both manufactured and custom colors. The Door Selection Center offers the additional benefit of being able to show doors painted with colors from the Valspar® American Traditions™ color palette. Users can change panel and window combinations. They can mix single and double wide doors. They can view combinations of different doors side by side. This tool sells clients better looking, and typically higher margin, doors. Window upgrades are a snap once the client sees the benefit of how they will look on their own house.
