Where do I find the serial
number for my copy of Color Visions? |
 |
The serial number is printed
on the back of the CD jewel case. You will need the serial number
the first time you run Color Visions. You will also need the serial
number when you call technical support. To find the serial number
once you have installed and run Color Visions, select Help - About
Color Visions. The screen displays the serial number.

Color Visions cannot open
my image file. Why? |
 |
Color Visions currently supports
JPEG, and bitmap files. If your image file is not in one of these
formats, you will not be able to open the file using Color Visions.
You can, however, convert your file into a format that Color Visions
supports.

Are digital pictures of houses
supplied with Color Visions? |
 |
Yes. There are digital images
in the Sample Images folder. These are houses you can use to practice
changing colors and painting.
|
 |
Why is the picture upside
down in the Color Visions window? |
 |
Some images are scanned upside
down and then saved to disk that way. If an image is not correctly
oriented on the screen, use the Rotate Image command located in the
Edit window to rotate the image clockwise in 90º increments. Continue
until your image is upright.

Can I open a picture of a
house that I have painted with Color Visions in other software applications? |
 |
Yes. The Export commands let
you save houses in the common JPEG format for use in other applications.

Will my computer work with
Color Visions? |
 |
If your computer can run Windows
98, 2000, NT, or XP, it can run Color Visions. Performance improves
with more RAM, increased processor speed, and faster and larger hard
drives. It is also recommended that the computer support 24-bit color.
