Where do I find the serial
number for my copy of VISTA? |
 |
The serial number is printed
on the back of the CD jewel case. You will need the serial number
the first time you run VISTA. You will also need the serial number
when you call technical support. To find the serial number once you
have installed and run VISTA, select Help - About VISTA. The screen
displays the serial number.

VISTA cannot open my image file. Why? |
 |
VISTA currently supports JPEG,
TIFF, and bitmap files. If your image file is not in one of these
formats, you will not be able to open the file using VISTA. You can,
however, convert your file into a format that VISTA supports.

When I install a garage door it sometimes looks "fuzzy",
why? |
 |
When a garage door is place
on your image it is sized to fit your image. If your image is low
resolution, the garage door is scaled down. This scaling can sometimes
result in an unclear looking image. The Door Close Up View
under the View menu always shows a detailed view of the door
without any scaling.

Are digital pictures of houses supplied with VISTA? |
 |
Yes. There are digital images
in the Sample Garages folder. These are houses you can use to practice
installing doors.

 |
Why is the picture upside down in the VISTA window? |
 |
Some images are scanned upside
down and then saved to disk that way. If an image is not correctly
oriented on the screen, use the Rotate Image command to rotate the
image clockwise in 90º increments. Continue until your image is upright.
